Description

Heidi アルプスの少女ハイジ Arupusu no shōjo Haiji - "Heidi, la ragazza delle Alpi"
is based on the Swiss novel Heidi's Years of Wandering and Learning by Johanna Spyri (1880).

Heidi was produced by the "Zuiyo Eizo" (which became "Nippon Animation" in 1975) Isao Takahata was the director and Hayao Miyazaki (scene design, layout, screenplay) worked as a scenographer and for which he traveled to Switzerland to be inspired by the landscapes. Yoichi Kotabe (character design, animation director), Toyoo Ashida (co-character design, animation director), Yoshiyuki Tomino (storyboard, screenplay).
