Description
Joey Q's breakout book (then Sword of Azrael)! Here, the Ray receives a book explaining that his father was the OG Ray.

Joe Quesada had only been published by DC for about a year when this issue came out. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Text is rendered on the board.

Nice!  People often jump to Ash or Azrael, but The Ray was Joe Quesada's early work that even Wizard was pointing out as a hot book showcasing the new talent to watch for.
