Basilisk #1 - Variant Cover

You guys know I have a bit of a Zu problem. I absolutely loved this cover when I first saw it. One of the very rare cases in which I purchased the art without any context. The way Zu has organized this piece is gorgeous. The colors are confident and perfect. Thanks as always to Annabel.

Now, to the book. Issue 1 was a nice bubbling simmer, and issue 2 suddenly engaged the instant pot and built the pressure.

It's a very gruesome horror that is right up my alley. One of my favorite Treehouses of Horror's was the one in which Homer accidentally eats a bit of himself and finds it delicious, and then he can't stop...

There's an element of that in Basilisk, and I'm very curious to see where Cullen Bunn takes it.
