I love this one ... This is the preliminary painting for the cover to Savage Sword of Conan # 233. Doug Beekman very kindly gave me access to this color prelim and besides the fun of acquiring a piece of art which I like a lot, it was a real pleasure to deal with this gentleman. Thanks Doug!

I own like 8 Beekmans and wnjoy them all as well as being in periodic contact with Doug An incredible painter and very knowledgeable about the field and history of illustration. I increasinglty find sci-fi and mystery genre illustration to be more interesting than most comic book art and often more affordable since what you are getting are mainly iimages like covers but at a fraction of the cost
