DescriptionIf you're going to collect Wonder Woman, it's only a matter of time until you find your way to John Byrne! So with that, here we are! I feel like everyone needs some Byrne in their art collection and this piece is a shining example as to why! A beautiful Wonder Woman page that shows off the Amazon Princess in all her glory! There's definitely more that can be said about this page (and about Byrne's art in general), but for now I'll just keep it simple!Social/Sharing |

Oh wow. Truly a breathtaking piece. Byrne is on the Mount Rushmore of WW artists and this is as good an example as you can get. Huge congrats!

Dynamic page!
With this great text it is terrific for this to come from a day when lettering was still on the art.
Ends perfectly with the exclamation of "Wonder Woman!"

This issue is when Byrne took over for Deodato's bad girl run. Byrne wanted to make a grand entrance with this issue using big images and classical superhero storytelling to define and set the tone for his run.

Just overlapping that one foot over the dark ink totally makes her float above the page. What a fantastic Wonder Woman splash by Byrne. His work on this series was so good. And the choice of that one little floater panel on the bottom right to really cement the action, while not taking away from the splashy image on the page, is such a great choice. Very cool. Big congrats!

All Wonder Woman roads do eventually lead to John Byrne (and Mike Deodato too I would say), and this is such a stunning example! Bravo!!
