Forever Evil #7, page 28. Pencils by David Finch, inks by Richard Friend. The Crime Syndicate has attacked Earth Prime and the Justice League is nowhere to be found. Lex Luthor takes it upon himself to assemble a team of villains to take on the Earth 3 invaders. This is probably one of my favorite event stories and the artwork was fantastic. David Finch’s Lex Luthor is the best in the business so getting a Forever Evil page was a must. Here we see Lex standing overtop of a weakened and defeated Ultraman. I think this page perfectly displays how Lex sees himself, as superior. Ultraman begs Lex to kill him but he refuses to give him the easy way out. Lex is getting enjoyment out of stomping his his arch enemy’s Earth 3 doppelgänger.
