The Italian and French fascination with the American Revolution era and how they resisted against the Red Coats is explored through this series. It speaks to the popularity of the Spaghetti Western genre from the 60's that demystified what US westerns had built up for decades with film and books. We'd get a more raw and honest look from the people outside America. During the 1970's there would be more focus placed on the plight of Native Americans and how tragic the simple truth was.
Questa e' l'unica copertina di questa collana disegnata da Guzzon le altre 57 sono disegnate da Sinchetto e le restanfi fino al 147 sono opera di Busett..alcune sono state disegnate da Sinchetto e poi pubblicate a colori con lievi modifiche da Busett..peraltro diverse sue tavole con corrispondono per nulla alla storia interna del fumetto..difetto tipico di Dino Busetti..
