Allred's run on this character was horribly unappreciated and this is one of many pages that shows why and how. Congrats on your bounties of Allred-Surfer wonder!
It's a mystery. I had certainly not heard of this run at all, and only read it because a great friend championed it to me.

Trippy. I had a similar thing happen to me that is happening to surfer but I think it was just bad shellfish.
"To get back to the warning that I received. You may take it with however many grains of salt that you wish. That the brown acid that is circulating around us isn't too good. Allred's art on that SS run is just plain beautiful.
