Description
Absolutely loved the comic series SWEET TOOTH, one of my all-time favorite new reads. This page captures the feeling from this series so well. It’s great to have a little piece of this fantastic series.

I was so excited to hear about the tv series that they were going to make from this comic. I thought this is some rough hard edged reality to do on some cute animal creatures. They did not deliver, the series pales in comparison to how great the book is and how rough these characters have it. I get it that it’s hard enough out there right now and they needed to lighten up the series, but they went too far. This page captures the gritty nature of the real idea for this comic series that you will likely never see in the series. Hard choices for a very hard life.

Glad to have this fun, gritty, sad piece in my collection from an amazing story-teller, Jeff Lemire.

It doesn't spare any of the visceral details.  Lemire puts in the last panel a matter of factly instead of trying for shock.

I had been told about this series for years, but seeing images of a boy with antlers was such a complete turnoff that I ignored the series completely. That is, until I noticed the local library happened to have the entire series in trades and I I decided to give the series a try. I'm happy to say it was really good, though quite derivative of The Walking Dead, and I'm happy I finally gave it a try. This is a disturbing but memorable page which I remember very well. Nice, one!
