DescriptionCANKOR: ANAMNESISArt by Matthew Allison Self published - July 18 2021 This is one of my favorite pages from Matt's run on Cankor to date. Something about it reminds me of a Dalí painting. I'm super excited for his new Hardcover book and first sketchbook! Social/Sharing |

The Anamnesis title splash! Love everything about this. A perfect example of how unique and awesome Matt's character design is. Congrats flipping the Cankor switch on this one!

It's a book for art lovers. The visuals are more than worth the price of admission and it's a great time to start with his latest collected hardcover book.

Well, "Persistence of Memory" has that clear background with all those suspended or otherwise floating elements in the foreground and so do other paintings of his, so that could be what reminds you of a Dalí painting. That's what I see, in any case. Lovely piece!

Bodies in motion with their heroic physiques and the contrast of a thinker type inert to all around him. Allison's inks are thoughtfully applied as usual.

Crazy good graphic sense, and the meticulousness is clear, as per usual with Matt's stuff! Congrats!
