The dynamic duo in every panel? Now thats a type of page for us all to aspire to find one day. Congrats!
Zgood.
Nolan's superhero take was keeping the classic look Batman in play for DC while the other tiltes focused on more experimental themes. DC didn't want crossovers after Knightsend to reestablish Bruce Wayne as the one true bearer of the mantle.
That is some awesome Batman & Robin action!
That is a great page, but I am equally interested in the WB preservation sheet. I have never seen one of these before, and I assume they were included with pieces framed at the WB stores. I never knew what kind of materials they used, but I did remove a WB store-framed piece from a frame a few years ago and thought the materials looked good.
I'm glad to know the pieces they framed should be relatively safe.
I bought it framed with the sheet attached to the back. I think it was originally sold through WB. I couldn't resist and extracted the page. It was framed very well. It is probably in the best shape of any pages I have, like new.
Fantastic Batman imagery!
Fantastic imagery, no wonder the WB store framed it up. But it's crazy to think what the store charged for (at the time) current 90s artwork. (Not cheap) The market finally caught up with them LOL
Nolan is so good on Batman. Love it!
