Gothic romance with the great wash shade on the figures and female lead with a stunning manor off in the distance. classic tropes done in a wonderfully realistic style by Mayerik.
When you stop and look at it, it really is. I love the manor panel. When you stop and look at it there really is a lot of design work involved in a comic page.
Nice changes in expression on Miss Stapleton's face. Mayerik conveys all the awkwardness and stiff formality of the scene.
