Description

I backed a Kickstarter for a sketchbook by Mark Pennington and got a commission, too. Since Mark was a figure designer for GI Joe before moving to comic books, I gave him a few character options and he picked Gnawgahyde of the Dreadnoks! I really enjoy Mark's style on this one, making Gnawgahyde and his environment look a little rough and dirty! And there's just something cool about getting artwork by a guy of a character he created!

A foul poacher with that dreadnok mean streak, Gnawgahyde even got his own action figure! Very cool that Pennington would revisit this with his current art style that is more detailed than before.
