Description

Before I came upon this cover, I'd never heard about the series Gunfire! That said, when I saw it was early Ed Benes art, an artist whose work I enjoy immensely, I found myself unable to resist its siren call! While both the series, and perhaps even this cover, might not be the most iconic (whatever "iconic" actually means), the rambunctious 90s' in-your-face quality is still worthy of appreciation, especially once you take a chance to look it over thoroughly and see all the detail that went into this stellar piece!

On another note, this was one of those covers that nobody seemed to want. It was overlooked, barely bid on, and so I did what I sometimes do when I see art I think deserves recognition: I snatched it up; couldn't let it go unloved!

It has the JLA in the background in an all out 90's battle cover. It only lasted 13 issues with a #0 thrown in and you own 7.14% of the covers. You have the final issue of the series.
