DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!25.5x29.5" frame contains mixed media original art for cover to The Cisco Kid #24, published by Dell Nov.-Dec. 1954. Art is Ernest Nordli (1912-1968), a Disney animation designer and layout artist who also provided cover art for Dell's Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid and Red Ryder comic books. Art shows Cisco Kid smiling w/a smoking pistol, a rearing horse seen in street bkg. Art has been professionally double-matted to 12x17.5" under Plexiglas alongside reading copy of the comic this art was created for. Bottom left corner of art has spot of staining and Cisco Kid has faint 1" streak of staining on his cheek. Displays VF as framed. Social/Sharing |
