DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!17.5x20.25" double-mat is attached to 15x19-3/8" artboard w/mixed media original art for cover of Jungle Jim #10, published by Dell Oct.-Dec. 1956. Art is by Paul Norris (1914-2007), a comic book artist best known as co-creator of DC Comics' Aquaman and for a 35-year run as artist of the Brick Bradford newspaper comic strip. Art shows Jungle Jim fleeing w/pistol in hand as a water buffalo charges. Art has been double-matted to 13.5x16.25. Corners have some printer registration marks, but o/w art displays Exc. as double-matted. Social/Sharing |
