SOS was a Warren-esque comic magazine, published in Spain by Valenciana 1948-1984, w/four well-differentiated periods, existing first as a humor magazine before transitioning to a horror anthology format. This issue is from the "third stage," which ran for 58 issues. Offered here is the cover to SOS #25, published in 1981. 11-1/8x14-5/8" artboard w/attached vellum overlay features mixed media original art for cover, featuring large demonic figure eating bloody meat from chained female sacrifice. This ties into first story in this issue and has penciled title at top margin. Art has been signed "E. Va�o" at lower left. Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the comic this cover art was created for.
