Description

Bought this back in March, I think, and finally had the chance to pick it up from Scott Eder this weekend at NYCC 2021. Thought this was a great example mixing my favorite X-Men character with my growing appreciation for comic book art outside the mainstream (more to come there after the education Scott gave me this weekend).

Not only a great example, but an insightful moment portraying how we all struggle with ourselves at some point.

Anothology of all star indie creators given creative control produced some of the more fun short stories in a while with the spotlight on their writing and art. Paul Hornschemeier gets to the heart of Colossus' inner thoughts about who he is and why he will and must triumph against Arcade's robot doppleganger of him. Never in question that he would prevail because Petr is much more than just power levels and fighting brawn.
