DescriptionA gorgeous splash by the amazing John Romita Jr., what's not to love?! I've said it elsewhere, but I generally try not to let nostalgia inform my art collection decisions. That said, this page comes from a comic that significantly impressed itself upon me as a child. One of the first Spider-Man comics I ever picked up (or one of the first comics I ever picked up period), I read and re-read this comic cover-to-cover and until it was coverless! I may not have understood who everyone was or what was actually going on in the grand scheme of the Marvel Universe, but with few comics to my name at the time, I couldn't help but lose myself in the awesome pages! One of the most impressive pages of the issue, I was delighted to acquire this piece; a fond reminder of my younger days!Social/Sharing |

Great combination of JRJR and Williamson that upped the tension for Ben Reilly Spider-Man! Exceptional splash with that classic feel of Spidey breaking free in honor of the ASM 33 sequence.

Yes, great JRJR Spidey example, where he takes up most of the board! I've seen this one in person and it's definitely a sweet one. Congrats, Simon!

Ain't nothing gonna break my stride! Ain't nothing gonna hold me down, oh no, I've got to keep on moving. Spidey breaks free on the best ways. Gotta love restrained Spider-Man images. And what great detail from JRJR, as he does. Very cool splash. Congrats!

I love seeing JRJR's Spidey and bonus points for a full splash and more bonus points for Spidey breaking out of a predicament!
