The Shadow by Kaluta a published mini splash.

Joel Goss and Michael Wm. Kaluta wrote a 23 page prose Shadow story entitled "My City" which was broken up and published across the four issues of The Coil of Leviathan. Kaluta did a spot illustration for each part of the story (4 total). This one was published in issue #2 in 1993. Michael Kaluta is best known for his work on The Shadow for DC back in 1974. He would only revisit it a few times after that with The Shadow: Hitler's Astrologer (Marvel 1988) and The Shadow (Dark Horse 1994) which was published just after The Coil of Leviathan. This pinup was drawn smaller on 6.75 by 9 inch art board, with an actual image measuring 6 by 7.5 inches. This entire piece is all drawn art, including the wording!
