Description
Superboy by the master of pastries, the secret weapon of Anthony's Comicbook Art, and the reason people watched the October 13th Episode of Dueling Dealers of Comic Art #40...Sharon Snyder. An angelic interpretation of Gil Kane's Adventures of Superboy #41 from 1983. It's got pink frosting eyeball rays as Superboy looks through his guilty hands. It really looks like tears of an angel. She also incorporated Gil Kane's abdominal anatomy after eating massive cake quantities. It measures 3.5" x 8" The image and memories will last longer than the Kane linework. Gil Kane was at his best, but now surpassed by Snyder.

The Superboy of Earth-Snyder.  Just like Gardner Fox's dreams allowed him access to Earth-Two, Sharon's cakes give her the clairvoyance to see into a universe of sweetness and icing.

It's really something! I'm glad it found the perfect home where it can be properly appreciated. Your art collection will be forever changed.

I strongly urge you to consign this to Heritage. They'd take it and the only question would be, "Where in between the Hulk #180 page and the Frazetta painting will this hammer at?".

There are no words, but I will make them.

Delicadoozy. Moydoxalicious.

The delicate choice of color accents the feminine side of this Dueling Duo.

The rendering of the face in HOME-AAAAGH of the MYP franchise is genius.

Hands and Feet are DEFINITELY not a problem for this master craftsman. Play to your strengths.

I stand. I applaud.

The clear glass frame with background works best. Have a look at Joney Bears reinterpretations of Brian Bollands Dredd artwork in my section.

One would have to consider that this foray into the four color realm is taking the approach from the artistic school of cakery.  Snyder's mixing of base cake medium, the fondant sculpting, and the ballerina like piping skills are present in this multi layered Superboy drawing that mimics all the artistry that comes into play when creating a beautiful confection that not only pleases the sugar beast within, but also the soul.  Being a crossover artist is not easy.  Ask any comic artist to set the temperature for the oven and you might find them stumped.

Amazing how she intuitively knew to use Superman's frosting vision to reinforce the triangular composition of the figure! Also There should definitely be a kryptonite color that gives Superman frosting vision!

Maybe the best superhero art piece ever drawn by any human being, by Odin's bristling beard !!!

As amazing as this is, I'd still rather have a cake.  Honestly, the only reason I watch the show is for the Cake Break.  Is there anything the mighty Sharon can't do?
