Description

Jack Kirby was contracted by Marvelmania (Marvel Comics' fan-service outlet) to produce a number of images for posters. Some were used as provided, other were redrawn by other artists using Kirby's designs as a basis. In this case, Herb Trimpe was asked to copy the Kirby design and layout, but change the face to his own style. This original ink over graphite artwork by Trimpe has been hand-colored by an unknown hand in the style of Jack Kirby, and signed by Kirby in the lower center edge.
