I enjoy Shawn McManus's art. I thought his style would be perfect for Howard the Duck or Man-Thing. He said he'd do both. I wasn't going to turn that down. The result is absolutely amazing. Such a fun piece.

Everything has a natural lush look about it like a pogo strip combined with the Man-Thing's gothic horror vibe. McManus' art accomplishes both comedy and horror for that macabre humor so prevalent during its heyday of the 70's.
