Description
Back when Doom 2099 was a thing in the 1990s, Pat Broderick was selling a set of 4 prints at conventions. This is the original art for one of those prints and is called Power Glove. I purchased this some time around 2000ish. Over time, all the black ink faded and in 2014 I contacted Bob Almond and asked if he could reink the image. Bob was the inker for Black Panther vol 2. Bob agreed to reink the image so this is Broderick's original, but reinked by Bob Almond, and Bob signed it with an "A 14".

Broderick is great and Almond is a Wizard to bring power back to the power glove.

Thanks for the great comments! Yes, this is an amazing example of Broderick's Doom 2099! Imagine all the black in the image as light red...that's what it looked like before Bob rehabilitated it!

So that would mean Broderick used markers instead of ink originally.

Yes, that was indeed the case. Same with the Doom 2099 25 cover.
