I got this page many years ago based on the 1st app of Strong Guy/Guido.
I was then happy to see him go on to be significant parts of the X-Factor and X-men teams.

Check that 2nd panel where he is chauffeuring around Cannonball, Dazzler, and Lila Cheney.

Bill Sienkiewicz New Mutants art pages are always a visual treat...just from the intensity and creativity of his line work. Especially, as on this page, when Bill does both the pencils and the inks. Check out his use of foreground and background images in the bottom panel.

This page doesn't really "wow" in the visual department, but it is still very interesting and a historic 1st app page as well.

This page impresses with Sienkiewicz's out of the box artwork for comics. He levelled the house style and turned in the artwork that championed opening up the horizons of the entire industry to embrace new and mature approaches to comics. It still had all the fundamental elements of comic storytelling, but the visuals were rebellious outsider cool just like these young mutants.

I remember hating BSienk's style as a kid reading NM and now all I want is more of it!

I disagree that it doesn't wow. His style got more and more unique as his time on the series went on, and this page is a great example. Congrats!

Love the history and character, huge congrats! It's a stellar page featuring some great characters that are drawn so uniquely by Sienkiewicz, a page as huge in stature as the String Guy, Guido, himself.
