Joe Simon [Jack Kirby lightboxed] Fighting American #4 Story Page 2 Original Art (Prize, 1954). A communist submarine shoots down an American pilot in this wartime panel page. Ink over graphite on vellum with an image area of approximately 10.5" x 15.75".

I would guess that this was lightboxed by Simon to change from WWII to the Cold War if this is for 1954. Nice piece of history.
