Description

A lovely painted page from the prequel series Rose, with art by Charles Vess. I've been looking for pages from this series for so long, so was happy to grab this page recently. No Rose on this page but some great shots of the dragons taking down the possessed Queen of Dragons in the re-telling of how the valley was formed. Really like Vess's use of colors here as the fiery flames die down to the more serene valley landscape.

Quite awesome in itself as Bone related art is the best that can be hoped for. Vess colors with dragons are a natural match.
