Such a springy Spider-Man! Bagley brings such a bouncy energy to his work and this piece is no exception! Congrats

I was so worried when I read this page that MJ was dead. Felt like anything was possible in Ultimate Spidey, and what with it being #25 and all... phew.

There will be no Gwen redux on Ultimate Spidey's watch. Cinematic, clean and pure Bags.

Who cares that it wasn't canon? Ultimate Spidey was the best Marvel Comic for quite a while, and it was moments like this that made it so.

This was a masterfully done scene. Like many of us here, I thought it was curtains for MJ but unlike Mr. Brian K. Vaughan, Bendis and Bags don't relish tearing our hearts out and showing them to us. Great pickup, man!

Everything about this page is fantastic, let alone that it's from an all-time great run. I'm particularly taken on the dark inks, characters spilling over panel borders, and that amazing money shot at the end. Wow!

You'd think Spidey would know better by now!
When the girl is falling
and Gwen you don't be recalling
That's Amoreeee
When she is about to hit the deck
and you stop her and break her neck
That's Amore
When Spidey is swinging
and the webs he be flinging
That's Amoreeeee
When we all post on Caf
and Wai's comments make us laugh
That's Amore

For a redux of a famous scene, this is absolutely iconic in its own right.

Epic page, Marcus - gorgeous and filled with everything that was RIGHT about the run: the impeccable artistry and storytelling chops of Mark Bagley, the gorgeous inking of Art Thibert, the confidence and imagination of the storytellers to throw us into situations we had seen before, but with a fresh "ultimate" spin. Everything was a "rediscovery" that reminded us of why we fell in love with the characters and situations in the first place, a testament to the "if it ain't broke..." philosophy. Beautiful, dramatic framing of this scene; none of us was sure how it was going to turn out! Another awesome add to your gallery, Marcus - congrats!

Panel design and flow is flat out to notch. I love that the sequence tells the story. Bagley is an amazing artist, more he is one of the ultimate Spider-Man artists. Congrats on a great pickup.
