There some futuristic Arnie movie back in the day about him and his clone, and my only take away was the laser razor they had in the future. Where is that tech?!? And thanks!

Do you think that none of us have noticed you stealing Tony’s hairstyle?
When an artist does "finishes" over layouts, they are pencilling over those layouts before inking them, so all you're really getting from the layout artist is the positioning of the figures and background elements. As Layton's figure work tends to be a bit stiff, you don't get the more fluid, natural figures Romita Jr. provides, even back in the late 70's. But what he lacks in that area, he makes up for with his slick, crisp ink line. Congrats on getting this page, from one of the most important storylines in Marvel history. I remember around 20 years ago when demand for Iron Man pages from this era weren't as sought after as they are today. I would tell everyone that they are some of the most undervalued pages in the hobby. But it still took years for collectors to come around in force and finally drive values to where they long deserved to be. Something else I've also always thought about pages from this run, is that the "Drunk Tony" related pages are the only ones that have any true "importance" attached to them. So while pages with Iron Man on them should certainly sell for whatever Iron Man pages from the same era sell for, the strong "Drunk Tony dealing with his alcoholism" pages should be the MOST in demand and yes, even more valuable than the pages with Iron Man on them. Kudos!

(And at least, this one is most likely to stay significant to the Comics medium alone as I don't think Disney would allow a drunk Tony to roam in the movies or TV shows. So no auction house pimpin' on the big screen ties on that one either, thank god. But that's probably just me ;).
My favorite part of this page is watching the on-panel mental calculus in Mrs. Arbogast's head as she decides to ask Tony about the whiskey on his breath instead of the mystery stains on his suit.

JRJR didn't look like JRJR in that period. It's crazy how drastically some artists change! Demon in a bottle. What a great arc showing the gravitas comics could bring. And 101% agree about how much the OA from that period can be way better than the printed page. Sweet stuff. Congrats!

Not one person has discussed the hideous possibilities of what Tonys secretary might be viewing. The back of her head stops this question from being answered. If that part is a paste on, perhaps you can reveal a caf exclusive! Its well known for drunks to forget to zip their pants.
