Picked this up during a quick visit to the Philippe Labaune gallery during New York Comic Con 2021. I didn’t think I was going to get anything but this piece kept speaking to me. I didn’t know who Jonathan was at the time but his art clearly won me over that night. I was suppose to pick up a reimbursement from Philippe that night from reframing another piece but ended up going in on another. This is probably the most provocative piece of art I own but it evokes such mixed emotions I had to add it to the collection.

wow, quite the piece. easy to get lost in it. provacative yes but classy and well done too and makes you think at the same time while appreciating the artwork. will have to check out this artist's stuff. congrats Carl!
