Amazing page!! I just LOVE Byrne's use of duo-shade on this series. The originals look so good!

Heavily inked and heavy on tone setting! Byrne really looks enthusiastic with a page 1 that opens the story with high stakes!

I agree this is an outstanding example. John mentioned last week or so (on byrnerobotics) that he considers his work on OMAC among the best of his whole career! Now that's saying something, You have yourself a real gem there, CONGRATS!

Thank you very much! I once heard him say it was in the top 3 best examples of his work, and I agree with him. I'll admit this is / was my favorite page of the series - I still don't understand why it's not available on Comixology, but thankfully, I still have the issues I bought all those years ago when it first came out. :-) Thank you again. I do love this piece!

OMAC absolutely rules, and JB's splash here explains why it's one of the best additions, congrats!!

Thank you! Yes, I am not sure why OMAC does not get more attention, since I think it's one of his best pieces of work - certainly as a writer/artist combo. And yes, this splash page blew my mind when I saw it. I have always thought it was amazing. Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :-)
