DescriptionNot Batman or Spider-Man I grant you but a lovely Indian ink drawing by Chéri Hérouard. I've always wanted an illustration by Hérouard due to his beautiful work in the French society magazine, La Vie Parisienne.This illustration entitled "She began to recite the so-called prayer" can be seen on page 31 of the book Grisélidis (Contes de Boccace, Edition Moderne - Librairie Ambert) which was fully illustrated by Hérouard. Delicate nude with the figure having a fine form. The work with the hair is just as carefully drawn with the ink. They work to make the piece resonate for all time.
