Description

Sienkiewicz broke new ground in storytelling with his avant-garde approach to mixed-media materials in comics. On this page, we see Ken Wind's presidential campaign posters, which according to Sienkiewicz, were based on a self-portrait. And as a bonus bit of history, writer Frank Miller's Elektra: Assassin story was not considered appropriate for the Comics Code Authority seal, so the series was not sold on newsstands, but only through specialty stores.
