Doesn't bother me on the scan.  It's on Black Cat's shoulder too, so you could just say it's directional lighting.  The customs fee is unexpected sticker shock though.  Chavez looks very talented and gives each a distinct look to show their personality.

You're right, although the scan definitely hides some of the defects and flattening is already helping a bit. And unfortunately, the customs fee is a regular and returning thing for European collectors when buying something from the UK & US.

Sadly this has happened to me several times. Damaged and destroyed artwork and they had the cheek to charge you too. Lol. Customs delays are ridiculously long which is why I am not buying any artwork until the world recovers mentally from covid and customs officials in Europe hire some more people and gets it act together.

If more people did that, something might change. Oh well... Sucks that it happens multiple times to you, by the way. Ruined packages is quite new to me; the extra fees are unfortunately there for 90% of the things that come into the country for me.

Very much a shame about the postal damage.  Mario does good work, I have several pieces by him - love hs style.
