Description

You have Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the Kingpin in a fantastic DPS by the ever-awesome Mark Bagley! While I love collecting Bagley Amazing Spider-Man pages, his Ultimate Spider-Man work is wonderfully impressive too! This DPS demonstrates good art telling a story without words. While we don't know what exactly is going on, you can tell see the emotion in Kingpin's face, as he tries to keep the heroes from further endangering his ailing wife.

This was at the point where Bagley was going to leave after the next issue (record 111th in a row), so he was pouring everything he had left in the tank creatively for these finals issues and his DPS works with Bagley are pure storytelling. The Kingpin is drawn in such a heartfelt manner as you can see his anguish throughout.

So much going on with this awesome DPS. I agree with Marcus. This was the end of Bagley';s run on USM, and he was pouring all his heart and soul into it.

Bagley makes the Kingpin seem human with his art. Really nice piece!
