Swan produced hundreds of covers and stories from the 1950s through the 1980s. Offered here is the original art for page 10 of "Superman" #282, published by N.P.P. in December 1974. Issue was written by Elliot Maggin w/interior art by Curt Swan and inks by Kurt Schaffenberger. Storyline "Lex Luthor-Super Scalp-Hunter!". This issue features first appearance of Lex Luthor's Battle Array. Five panel page shows Superman in two panels and a Battle Array suited Lex Luthor (his classic purple and green outfit) going to scalp Superman.
