Swan produced hundreds of covers and stories from the 1950s through the 1980s. Offered here is the original art for page 10 of "Superman" #282, published by N.P.P. in December 1974. Issue was written by Elliot Maggin w/interior art by Curt Swan and inks by Kurt Schaffenberger. Storyline "Lex Luthor-Super Scalp-Hunter!". This issue features first appearance of Lex Luthor's Battle Array. Five panel page shows Superman in two panels and a Battle Array suited Lex Luthor (his classic purple and green outfit) going to scalp Superman. Also has great image of Luthor sporting Superman's scalp. N.P.P. copyright stamp on back. Scattered handling wear/aging. Aged tape at top and at bottom. Signed by Curt Swan. VF.
