Swan produced hundreds of covers and stories from the 1950s through the 1980s. Offered here is the original art for page 26 of "Superman" #290, published by N.P.P. in August 1975. Issue was written by Jim Shooter w/interior art by Curt Swan and inks by Tex Blaisdell. Storyline "Babble, Babble, Toil And Trouble! " Five panel page shows Superman and Mr. Mxyzptlk (in a beret and a turban) w/context that language keeps changing on earth making it impossible for his name to be spoken forward or backward.
