10.75x16-3/8" artboard has pen and ink original art for page 12 of Captain Savage And His Leathernecks #9, published by Marvel Oct. 1968. Art is by longtime Marvel artist Dick Ayers (1924-2014) w/inks by John Severin (1921-2012). From "The Gun-Runner" storyline and features three panels, w/last splash panel showing Captain Savage and his Leathernecks parachuting towards Burma. Top margin has stamped title abbreviation and inked issue/pages numbers. Bottom margin has continuation strip taped in place. Editorial notations at left/right margins w/some bleeding to blue felt tip pen text. Back has Comics Code Authority inkstamp. Scattered staining at bottom center margin and at center right, slightly infringing into artwork area. Still VF overall.
