Description

Finally found a piece (that I could afford) by the late, great Big John Buscema. As an added bonus, this page was inked by little brother Sal.

Late-era Buscema Bros, where the FF take on the ugly Umbra. It’s light on characters, but Big John’s skill at drawing figures is still on full display.

Interestingly, Buscema must’ve had to redo the story, as the two bottom panels were cut-out and taped into the main page.

Buscema bros magic. The look when they worked together is among my favorites in comics. And this is a very nice page with the ladies of the FF. You're gonna get your butt kicked, bud. She-Hulk and Sue aren't going to stand for that kind of nonsense. Great score. Congrats!

A classic pairing of Hall of Fame brothers! All that explosive energy of panels 2-4 backgrounds is classic and timeless. The big feathery hairstyles are 1987 glam perms!
