Description

Saya and Marcus lay out a plan. A lot of good expressions on this one. Some process work going on here as well with the text bubbles showing on the blue line and the Reverse! on the last panel as this image was flipped in the published version to have Saya smoking with her left hand, instead of the right hand which she no longer has.

Stark contrasts of shadow on the faces and a well defined storytelling panel structure allows Craig a lot of room to control the story beats and special designs like the bottom tier.

Everyone wants the action pages, but man, Wes kills these quiet scenes too!

I didn't discover this series until after the show, but I'm glad I did. This page is a masterclass in knowing where exactly to place the "camera" to keep the scene lively and engaging. Congrats!
