You netted a big one Thantastic! ;-)
Thanks soooo much Nils!
Fantastic page, congratulations
Thanks so much Claudio! Grazie!
This is 70's Marvel at its finest! Thanos is an imposing foe and Ben looks like he's in for the fight of his life! He pulls no punches and the explosive last panel shows he's not messing around. Though Thanos, did not appear much in 616 Marvel Universe after this time period, people thirsty enough could catch a ride on the Thanos copter in Spidey Super-Stories #39 a year later. Maybe he was too powerful to use in any other way until a major event comes along worthy of his presence.
Hi Marcus!!! As usual you are right! I wasn't aware about this Thanos apprarance in Earth 57780... you are a trully marvel&dcpedia!!! Thanks always for your comms!!! Happy to share with you OA!!!
Marvel Universes are too painful on my brain to contemplate. I'll just say I loved this book, and you're a lucky man to have this page!!
Totally awesome page from this classic issue!
Thanks so mucha Eelco.
Congrats on a dream come true!
Thanks so much my friend!
I'd love every page in this book, but this one is real classic. Four panels of Starlin's Mad Titan and two great horizontals of the Thing. The energy from his eyes practically transforms into the next panel punch. So cool!
This days I've been reading again this storyline Avengers Annual 7 and MTIO Annual 2 and it's true. Any page of them is a gem! Thanks so much!!!
Thanos doesn't look so clobbered. Didja eat yer Wheaties, Ben? Don't let Aunt Petunia down! Awesome Two-in-One page! A Starlin Thanos and the Thing unleashing a haymaker? So cool. Congrats!
Thanks so much Jason !
Breathtaking!
It is! I can't take my eyes off of it!!! Thanks so much!!!
An excellent vintage Thanos page.
Thanks so much my friend! It means a lot to me!!!
What a stunner - Thanos, a stellar villian and the Thing, a classic hero - from one of the best books of the 70s - layout great too!
Fully agree! Thanks so much!!!
Killer Starlin Thanos page with a fantastic Thing punch panel. Really exceptional, congrats!
Thanks so much my friend. Let me congratulate you for your OUTSTANDING COLLECTION. I'm an on going visitor of your gallery. Best!
Awesome !! Huge congrats for this pick up
Thanks so much!!!
Toni it's been a great and wonderful journey to get to this fabulous trade.. We definitly needed that much entertainment during this awful period of pandemic.. I'm so very happy this page found it's new home at such a nice and friendly collector's.. DEFINITELY AN AWESOME STARLIN PAGE IN YOUR NEAT COLLECTION OF GREAT TASTE.. HUGE CONGRATS
It's so beautiful to find people that live and feel the hobby in the same way. I'm also very happy that the Iron Fist page is now part of your STUNNING collection. Thanks also for your hospitality in Paris.
So...is it for sale or not? (Great page, Toni.)
Description modified! Now it's cristal clear 😜! Thanks so much, my friend!!!! All the best!!!
Starlin does a Kirby with such power and delight! Thanos is already beyond reality but Dr Grimm knows best!... Oh, well, and even if we know this will not be enough to stop Thanos, this is still a major moment in comic history!
Yessss!!! Thanks so much!
Lovely artwork but 'Dr. Grimm' taking on Thanos? Pounding headache and aching body time, Ben.
Cosmic Crashes...
Sockamagee!
"The wildest Villain Yet"
thanks so much my friend!!!!
Knockout of a page! What could be more exciting than a Things versus Thanos battle royale!
It is! Thanks so much Bill!
Early Thanos the Mad Titan pages by Starlin are always good and this one is a GREAT example of his work. Major congrats! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Dave! Thanks so much for your comm! Fully agree. Starlin's Thanos pages always have something special. Best my friend.
Everything about this page is badass! That upper right panel is killer.
Yes! It's so amazing to have this page where Thanos is threatening The Solar System. Thanks so much!!!
For sale status? "Never never never!!" - not hard for ANY of us to see why! A winning page top to bottom - every panel's got something to pore over, and when combined for the storytelling?! Next level stuff. Huge congrats, Toni!
Thanks so much Kahlil!
One of the best 70's pages with Thanos, which are incredibly hard to come by. A full-fledged grail. Congratulations Tony on this winning purchase.
Gracias Antonio! Ha sido una búsqueda larga pero ha valido la pena. Es difícil exprersar lo que significa para mí pero estoy completamente seguro que sabes a lo que me refiero!
What a fantastic page!!
Thanks so much my friend!
what a blow! great page
Thanks so much!
That bottom panel has to be one of the best shots of Aunt Petunia's favorite nephew this side of Kirby. An outstanding page from a legendary story.
Thank you so much Michael!!! Aunt Petunia would be so proud of that guy!
panel for panel. it really can't get much better of an interior page then this. congrats
I fully agree you. I love any panel of this page. Thanks for your comm.
Truly impressive.dazzling page
Thanks so much!!! Probably my favourite page from my collection. At least in the top 3 for sure.
This issue/story (and its companion Avengers Annual #7) was an epic achievement by Starlin. I can completely understand why you were so thrilled to get this page. Even though I don't collect panel pages, I'm sure I would be just as thrilled to have a page like this (or any other page from those incredible issues). This would be a prize even without the multiple Thanos panels. But the fact that there are FOUR, plus the two great Thing panels, make this a true grail. Congratulations!
You are true! That issue is a Marvel's milestone and one of the peaks on Starlin's career. There are just a few pages with "more" Thanos than this one. Thank you so much!!
Great page, but I especially love that 5th panel of just Thing's eyes.
I’ve cured some sick puppies with my World-Famous Knuckle Knock-Out Formula back in the day too, so I’m all in with Dr. Grimm! Cosmically calamitous congrats!!
