Description

The first piece of art I ever bought from Mike Zeck was the cover to G.I. Joe #47. After that, he would offer me the chance to buy covers as he was drawing them. Between 1984-1987, Zeck drew the majority of covers for G.I. Joe including the covers for the spin-off series G.I. Joe Special Missions and Yearbook #3.

Mike would cap off his comic book career by drawing his version of the Silent Issue for Devil's Due G.I. Joe #21 in 2003. This was the last interior book he ever drew. I had agreed to buy all the original art for the issue before he completed it - so as a bonus, he was kind enough to name the video arcade "Costas Corners" after me and drew me into the story on page 18.

Love Zeck's work on G.I.Joe, and this is a fantastic display to see all this work in one shot. Thank for for showing the Exhibit here and for your work on it.

i always wondered why i never saw these original covers for sale over the last 30+ years... What a collection!!! Congrats Cosmos!
