I had been following Jesse Wichmann's art for a couple of years when I got lucky in July of 2021 after he posted up a small preview of this image and how it was going to be a part of an upcoming Coffin Kickstarter. He had added a note along with that preview image saying that the original art was for sale, and without hesitation I contacted him about it. We set up a payment plan for me to purchase it later that year after the Kickstarter would be over, and as we were talking through Facebook he had a cool little note about this OA in general: "It's a nice piece. I had been wanting to draw the spine armor piece for awhile but it never seemed right for the different covers I'd been doing, so when I arrived at my layout I was excited. And, all the coins at the bottom took forever to draw lol."

I'm so super happy to add another modern day "Lady Death pillar artist" to my OA collection, and I'm so grateful to Jesse for letting someone like me purchase it before any of his other followers got to.

Edit:
I got this custom framed in my standard style of front OA with U/V anti-glare glass and the rear art print with U/V regular glass.

Another great add to you lovely collection. Love Jesse Wichmann's style and this is a beautiful cover.
