Frenz did some great work on this issue! I never realized til now that they cut & pasted the corner box from the different titles. Great pick up.

I'm not sure Janson is super suited to Frenz and yet that Cloak face is fantastic. BUT if it's on vellum, coundn't it be that those two C&D faces are entirely his?
It's part of the theme of the '83 annuals to have that frame and a solid color background so the image within had to be definitive. So cool that they were able to break the borders multiple times on this one! With the New Mutants on this one, it looks like they got the idea of this design from the cover of their graphic novel debut.
