Description

Once again, I thought this was some incredible layout and storytelling by Coipel. That small panel of the axe sliding along the pavement as the windup before the big hit is just an excellent touch. The power that's about to be unleashed is palpable.

Stunning page, Scout Comics! Very nearly an "if you could only get one page from the Straczynski run, it should be this one" page. Love the powerful layout here, with the "before and after" panels separated by a more darkly rendered (and attention-grabbing) insane burst of action that (exactly as you say) is palpable in its fury. Your collection is superb! Thanks so much for posting these great pieces!
