Description

I was fortunate in the late 1990s to come across Jim Mooney multiple times at the SDCC. He had his stash of Web of Spider-Man art, and I was trying to find examples with the ASM. I acquired this one readily when I came across it. This was the first issue to feature ASM back in his original costume after the first issue where he was able to shed finally the alien symbiote from his body with the sonic boom from the bells.

When reviewing the GCD prior to posting, I did not realize that Marvel did not provide a proper credit to the colorist. Dr. Martin? Does anybody know the pseudonym for this person?

Man, what an embarrasment of riches! First, a killer page from issue #1 with Spidey in the symbiote costume and now a killer page from issue #2 with Spidey in his classic costume. AWESOME!

Very cool Web of Spider-Man page! Lots to love in this one. Spidey's in-air acrobatics are always a joy to see! Plus a major villain! What more can one ask for?
