DescriptionI really dug Calvins style, as I liked the dark and sometime somewhat messy styles of Jae Lee, Nick Manabat, and Stephen Platt during that period. Calvin worked on Chapel for a bit and I dig the art he did during his run. This piece really reminded me of a Deathblow page by Jim Lee that was similar is style and content, so I had to get it.Social/Sharing |

The endless victim skulls and giant brute physique in the Miller-esque style conveys the great mid 90's art full of detail paired with the dark subject matter where only indie comics would dare.
