Description

This 8" x 13.5" pen-and-ink prelim (for an 'AVP' Bookplate) appeared on the 'Art for Sale' pages of John's website at around the same time as my previous, accompanying 'AVP Prelim' post. And, as pieces incorporating any of his fashion-conscious, female combatants from this period of his work seem inordinately hard to come by, I was keen to add this to my meagre collection. A quick e-exchange with Liliana followed, during which she successfully enticed me into also purchasing the finished, colour artwork for said Bookplate - which I'll add to this Page shortly.
