Coventry #3

Ok, we all have that "just missed it" story.
Mine starts long ago when I had just started collecting comic art. I went to Chuck's house (yes, that Chuck when he still lived in DC) and picked up my first MoKF art. While there, he had the Bill Willinghm's prelim to Elementals #8, the infamous 9-1/2 hours cover. He was willing to sell but being new to collecting I passed. Needless to say, I have regretted it ever since.

So, many, many years later when this beauty appeared, I knew I had to have it.

Coventry was Willingham's early prototype "Fables" style series. So, maybe this is an early Bigby?
