Alan Davis - Thing vs Super Skrull

Yes!  Definitely a great matchip, especially with the AD treatment!  I gotta get me some Super Skrull.  It's on the list, and seeing pieces like this make it more of a priority!  Congrats, man!

I think Super Skrull is arguably Ben's greatest match-up.

Great up close battle image by Davis who knows how to choreograph them very well.  The key linework is on Benji's left cross that unfurls the image much like flattening of a super scroll.   

Neary, Farmer, or no inker at all, you still can't go wrong with a Davis piece.

Anyone who doesn't love these characters needs to be clobbered.

A hallmark of a good FF artist is their ability to convey Ben's personality despite his being a pile of orange rocks.  Davis did a great job of that each time he's tackled the FF.  Top notch work here!

I love these characters - Super Skrull is one of the coolest visual villains out there. I remember seeing this and can't remember if I considered buying it or regretted missing on the opportunity. Congrats Larry - another great piece in your deep Alan Davis collection! Thanks for sharing!
